Luis Resto is best known as a wildly successful hip hop producer and songwriter. His oeuvre includes collaborations with Eminem, Jay Z, 50 Cent, Judakiss, Obie Trice and Akon. In 2002, he won an OSCAR for writing the Best Original Song From A Motion Picture - Eminem's "Lose Yourself" from "8 Mile".
