By therevcharliet on December 11, 2007, at 6:00PM PST Harry - keep this at the forefront.  I live in Louisiana and I firmly believe the New Orleans crisis is a case where upper class America is looking away from lower class America.  Where are all the African Americans since Katrina...the heart and soul of Orleans Parish.  I have long said the aftermath of Katrina can be equated to the 'de-nigrafication' of New Orleans, excuse my use of negro but it fits, and this is a damn shame.   New Orleans is the best example of what life can be like when we look at people, not race.  The federal government turned their back on us and we need to make sure they alway know we are watching.
