Avid concert pianist Condoleezza Rice (Judith Owen) muses in her study about her relationship with George W. Bush, and where it all went wrong.

"Greed and Fear". Based on the two emotions which battle for the heart (?) of Wall Street, Harry Shearer has concocted nine hummable, even danceable, musical tributes to the strange language and stranger behavior that have made Credit Crunch such a tasty breakfast treat...or a great abdominal exercise.

By youdumbcracker on August 17, 2008, at 6:55PM PST Because we're on a cyber-stage, whenever someone disagrees with and/or dislikes someone or something, they label them/it the opposite of what they or others perceive as having value.  By devaluing others and/or their opinions, they are making statements in an effort to increase their own value in the eyes of others.  It all boils down to competition for a mate.  I don't think anyone will acknowledge or even realize this sub-conscience motivation.  Let's see how many people try to increase their value by disagreeing with me.  Also, I want to point out that you can also be trying to increase your value by agreeing with me.  However, if you agree with me, you only serve to increase my value in the eyes of others and this is all I can hope for.  :D

By KCDrew on August 23, 2008, at 10:38AM PST Harry Shearer takes himself too seriously?  Are you kidding me?  He's the one guy who'd say "let's laugh", in spite of what this administration has done and is doing to the country and the world.         Yikes.
