Holy snaps! Check out our boy, Josh Gad - star of our upcoming series
Gigi: Almost American, "on"
The Daily Show last night! Okay, so Matt and Trey from South Park were really the guests; there to talk about their new Broadway musical
The Book Of Mormon. But Josh was about as on as you can be without being there in person (check him out behind Matt and Trey, singing like a champ). Plus he's been on The Daily Show as a correspondent so no need to split hairs here anyway.
Matt and Trey got some pretty high praise from their Comedy Central counterpart. I won't spoil what Mr. Jon Stewart had to say, you can
check it out for yourself. Actually, you need to hear it for yourself because it'd probably sound like I was making it up if I told you because when I say "high praise", I mean it was downright biblical (pun intended, suckas!).
Episodes of Gigi: Almost American launch 3/23, but you can get your fix now with the trailer and promos
NOW.

We saw God last night (and others) at "The Book of Mormon" - the funniest, most original musical comedy on Broadway.
The show stars Josh Gad, our My Damn Channel brother & hero & the star of our newest comedy series, "Gigi: Almost American."
We're previewing Gigi now, created by Josh and The Lost Nomads. Our series launches 3/23. New episodes every Wednesday on My Damn Channel.
I decided not to read all the Mormon press or ask Josh all about the show before experiencing it fresh. This was such an orgasmic comedic masterpiece. Get tickets and see this for yourself. And we'll buy more and give them away like Santa, or the other guy.
"Mormon" was created by South Park's Matt Stone & Trey Parker with Avenue Q's Robert Lopez. We had insane comic heaven hangtime during and after the show with them all last night... along with The Pope: Jon Stewart; "Mormon" producer and show business Midas: Scott Rudin; the Head of Comedy Central and MTV Networks Entertainment Group: Doug Herzog; Iconic Legends Mike Nichols and Angelica Huston; our friends and heroes from IFC: Dan Pasternack & Debbie DeMontreux; and we even met Spock: Zachary Quinto.
"The Pope" proves every time year after year that he's one of the most generous humans in the game. We were so stunned to see Mike Nichols, I couldn't imagine lame bla-bla and went to a spontaneous salute - which he returned!
We capped off the night and the cocktails with da man of the year, Josh Gad, eating 2am style pizza reminding us all of why we love the voodoo we do. God bless.

Last night, Patricia Heaton - looking beautiful as always - appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about her ABC hit series The Middle, and chat about Versailles (pronounced Ver-sales), a new comedy series coming to My Damn Channel starring David Hunt, Fred Willard, Martha MacIsaac, Eve Gordon, and featuring William H. Macy and Patricia Heaton. Big thanks to Jimmy and Ms. Heaton for the shout-out! Watch a clip from the JKL interview below:

I just left Howard Stern's studio after an hour-long, on-air interview with the King.
About 2 weeks ago, Collette McLafferty set up an interview on Dr. Blogstein's Radio Happy Hour on Blog Talk Radio. Their interview was supposed to be about My Damn Channel, but they opened with a question about my old life in a thankless job at CBS Radio working to try to figure out how to replace the irreplaceable Howard Stern.
Howard 100 News ran with the story on Sirius on April Fool's Day. Gary Dell'Abate connected to invite me to come in to meet Howard this morning, 420, to tell the untold, true story.
I'd gotten advice from some of my best friends - and from some of Howard's friends about how to handle the situation. Much of it obvious. Tell the truth. Don't weasal. And the hardest advice - don't be long-winded.
Somehow, the minute I walked in LIVE - the mass nerves disappeared and Howard was totally amazing for over an hour.
We talked about the impossible situation he created by quitting radio in 2004 for satellite. I told him that the only person that came out perfectly smelling like a rose...was Howard.
We talked about Jon Stewart, Matt & Trey from South Park, Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, Chris Rock, David Lee Roth, Adam Carolla, Jimmy Kimmel, Free FM, Harry Shearer, You Suck at Photoshop, and My Damn Channel. He couldn't have been cooler.
Today's show will loop all day on Sirius.

Big love to Coolio, the author!

Respect and thanks to Dave Stewart for an inviation to an inspired dinner in Los Angeles with Nokia this week.
Dave is a fan of My Damn Channel and a Change Agent. He's a soulful musician and a visionary thinker in search of new ways to put music, entertainment, and ideas into your control.
Dave hosted dinner along with his latest partner in magic, Tero Ojanpera, Nokia's Executive Vice President of Entertainment and Communities.

Less than 30 Nokia dinner guests included musicians, producers, filmmakers, and smart humans dedicated to further empowering people to access information and entertainment through impressive technology.
Mick Jagger was there. I've been lucky enough to work with him and the Stones on a few projects since "Tattoo You." We spoke before dinner and I gave him the My Damn Channel shebang.

Here's Q&A with Dave & Tero on where this is all going.
Dave is on tour this summer as Dave Stewart and His 30-piece Rock Fabulous Orchestra. This man makes mincemeat of the mundane. He's also releasing a new album and a book. Info here.
More to follow.
