Mark Malkoff figured out fast that Los Angeles gets expensive for a guy living out of a suitcase. So he decided simply to ask celebrities if he could sleep at their homes. He just ASKED them! And they said YES!
He slept with Camryn Manheim's Emmy. He met Mary Lynn Rajskub and her son. He stayed in Justine Bateman's treehouse. He practiced napping with Kristen Schaal. He slept in the same bed with Kate Walsh...only after Kate called Mark's wife and assured her that it was perfectly fine since she wasn't attracted to him at all!
Ed Begley, Jr., Dave Coulier, "Bridesmaids" director Paul Feig, "Everybody Loves Raymond" creator Phil Rosenthal, legends Buck Henry and Dick Cavett...Mark convinced them all to open their doors and let him spend the night.
Well... almost all of them (

Getting ready to leave CES and Las Vegas I can't help but be so inspired by the IAWTV and the online video community.

This is what we've looked like while waiting for this season of Easy To Assemble to start.

This season of
Easy To Assemble is all about finding your way "home." And that's a nice idea, right? Home. Where the heart is. Where you hang your hat. Where the buffalo roam. Where you sometimes have to slide head-first in order to beat the throw from left field to make sure you're safe.
Home.
And we're pretty glad that Easy To Assemble's home is My Damn Channel, you know? We like to think that we know original web series better than almost anyone, and Easy To Assemble is one of the best web series around, at least according to the
LA Times. So... while it may have taken a little longer than we originally anticipated to bring Season 3 "Finding North" to you, it feels like going home for us to be able to present it to you now since
This is what we do. This is the caliber of talent we work with. This is how it's supposed to go for us. This is home.
Oh, and there's some "making out" in the
first episode so you should totally watch it just for that.

Ah, September. You went by so fast. How can it be the end of you already? We're still debating whether or not it's okay to wear white and now you want us to start thinking about Halloween costumes? Sigh.

So. You've made your
first vlog and told everyone that you didn't know what you were doing.
Sweet. What's next?
Well, one tactic that especially adventurous vloggers like to do is to treat the videoblogging experience like Twitter.
Like BAD Twitter.
Like the Twitter that you're afraid of finding in your timeline so you never even log on. Like the Twitter that you used to write when you didn't know what Twitter was and you thought that Facebook was just a fad and why can't we all just go back to MySpace already?!

last week-- this seems to work best when you don't have anything interesting or informative to share with the audience! People love being bored to death! It's crazy how that works! Those YouTube subscriptions should just start rolling in!
