So it's the week before Halloween and you can't go as a ghost again because your mom is pissed you keep cutting holes in her sheets. What to do? We're here to help. All this week we're going to tell you how to dress up like your favorite My Damn Channel stars.
First up, How To Dress Like Gigi:

What you need:
- hat
- button-down shirt
- striped tie
- cargo shorts
- glasses
- old-timey suitcase
Most of these items are probably lying around your parents' house somewhere or can be purchased pretty inexpensively at any second-hand store.
Once you get the look down, get the character down by walking around all day saying
"shakey peachy" and pretending not to understand English. We predict this will go over particularly well with your girlfriend who already complains that you don't understand her.
If you do it correctly, you should resemble our friend
Smokybanjo here, whose head has been poorly 'shopped onto Gigi for no reason other than we watched
an old episode of YSAP and learned about the path tool. Happy Halloween!

Jonah Hill is skinny.
Perhaps you've heard? He's in a new movie called
Moneyball and he's been making the promotional rounds and we're here to tell you that the rumors are true: he's super-slimmed down.
You see, it just so happens that your
humble My Damn Channel blogger went to a professional baseball game last week and saw him in person when he threw out the first pitch:

(Image via @Athletics)
It is a very different look from his
Wainy Days role:
But just like we told our mom when she asked, "Is that the same guy from your Wainy Days show? Is he a good friend of yours or something? Should you go down to the field and say 'hi' to him?" We'll tell you the truth:
"Yes it's the same guy."
"No, we're not good friends."
"NO, MOM, WE'RE NOT GOING DOWN TO THE FIELD TO SAY 'HI.'"
But that last part was mostly just because security wouldn't let us.

Today is a new day in the world of My Damn Channel because we officially launch the My Damn Channel Blog Network with
Slacktory (http://slacktory.com).
Slacktory is helmed by one of our favorite internet users,
Nick Douglas, former editor of
Valleywag and
Urlesque, where he helped us navigate the vast internet with humor and wit. We were so impressed by him, naturally we
stalked followed Nick on Twitter and Tumblr and when he mentioned briefly that he was looking for a new challenge, we pounced. Social Media: it works!

(Nick!)
Now Nick and his merry band of writers are all part of the Damn Family. We always wanted more brothers and sisters, but Mom said "over her dead body," so this is, like, the
best kind of compromise. We get some new playmates and Mom's still alive.
Make sure you visit
Slacktory.com daily to find out what shenanigans that crazy internet has gotten itself into this time! Today, we have stories about Jessi Slaughter, a Harry Potter/Book of Mormon parody, a visit to Jack In The Box with Tom Waits and a weekly column from Mark Zuckerberg that Mark Zuckerberg has nothing to do with at all.
But, don't worry! We haven't forgotten our online video roots! Slacktory will curate, remix and mashup videos at
MyDamnChannel.com/Slacktory. Our first Slacktory
video has cats, babies and Hitler explaining "Planking," so, you know, there's something for everyone!
Slacktory is just the beginning. We're coming for you, Internet. Please continue to do ridiculous things so we always have something to talk about.
As you embark on your Father's Day weekend, many of you will be visiting more than one parental household. Whether it be a combination of paternal father and stepfather, or your real Dad and the guy you call "Uncle Jim" who has sleepovers with your Mom, you're not all that different from our consummate romantic underdog, David Wain.
In
Episode #22, his father is played by Lee Majors - but in
Episode #25, it's Jeffrey Ross! No wonder this guy has issues.
Enjoy yourself this weekend. Let your Dad know that he can still beat you in basketball if you shave a few points off, or if you're a girl go ahead and not tell him about your live-in boyfriend. Happy Father's Day!

Hot on the heels of last week's National Donut Day, today marks yet another charmingly inane "holiday" celebrating yet another piece of contemporary bric-a-brac. I'm talking, or course, about National Ball Point Pen Day! So fire up your out-of-office reply function, put on your party shirt, and cut out of work early. You don't want to be late for the parade, and besides, those Bic-themed cocktails down at the National Ball Point Pen Day barbeque aren't gonna drink themselves. Just be safe out there. You know how drivers are on BPP Day.
And in the spirit of the season, we're giving away some free My Damn Channel promotional pens over on our Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook. Nothing to scoff at, especially since it's been well-established that pen > sword = mightier. Click the links for a chance to win. What's that you say? How DARE you insinuate that this is all just a cheap ploy to unload the huge surplus of pens we ordered to give away at our 4th birthday party on Monday. Who cares that there are boxes full of My Damn Channel pens piled floor-to-ceiling in our offices, creating a fire hazard that will likely kill us all. That's no reason to read anything duplicitous into this whole free pen giveaway thing. You guys are acting crazy.
So happy holidays. Don't forget to send your mom a card.

Patricia Heaton stopped by "Good Morning America" to chat about her hit TV show "The Middle" and to hip the world to the new twisted comedy Versailles here on My Damn Channel.
Episode 1 and Episode 2 are playing now.
New episodes every Monday.

Mother's Day,
mom,
mother on 5/5/2011 4:29:03 PM by Matt Warren
You know that stern, older woman who lived in your house when you were growing up? The one who cooked all your meals, did your laundry, and threw away all the porno she found under your bed while vacuuming? The woman who always got into lengthy shouting matches with your father over finances, and who spent long afternoon after long afternoon quietly sitting on the couch, surrounded by the chaos of her household, drinking zinfandel and staring off into the middle distance? Remember her?
That was Ms. Ana, your nanny.
The woman who paid Ms. Ana to do all those things was your
mother. And guess what Sunday is? That’s right: Mother’s Day.
What’s that? You demand My Damn Channel videos with an extremely tenuous link to a Mothers’ Day theme? Well don’t worry, YOU WILL NOT BE DENIED.
Everyone’s favorite newly-minted American,
Gigi, falls for a very pretty, very pregnant library patron, played by Gigi star Josh Gad’s real-life wife, Ida Darvish.
Two grown children of an eccentric, mostly awful dead actress try to figure out what made their mom tick in the
new series Versailles, premiering Monday!
And last but not least,
David Wain shoves a new mother to the ground and tries to drown her baby. Spoilers.
So show a little respect, you little shit, and send the old crone a card. Who knows? Maybe she’ll write you back into the will after all.

Easy to Assemble,
Horrible People on 6/10/2010 3:00:00 AM by Rob Barnett

Boxee is the best way to get TV shows, movies, videos, music, and photos from the Internet on your TV. We’ve been watching this company grow and we’ve seen people’s heads turn every time their name is mentioned…inna good way. Put simply, this company is hot – with the right ideas to build the future with you in the driver’s seat. Here’s more.
Boxee just gave My Damn Channel access to one million new households. We just gave Boxee every single video we’ve had on My Damn Channel since launch in 2007.
You can now see our original music and comedy in the comfort of your own domestic domicile – on the largest screen of your choice. This is a HUGE win for our fans, artists, and sponsors … even our moms will finally think we’ve all got real jobs.
We’re launching this new chapter of our life by giving Boxee exclusive off-site distribution of the premiere of David Wain’s new “WAINY DAYS.” This is episode 32 from one of the most-watched comedies in the new world - starring David along with Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman & Zandy Hartig.
If we weren’t working so hard to entertain you – we’d be home right now partying our brains out watching Wainy Days, Easy To Assemble, the entire catalog of the Don Was Cavalcade of Recorded Music, all those You Suck at Photoshop and Horrible People episodes and the deadly smart creations by Harry Shearer.
It's all there waiting for you. New stuff we can't even tell you about yet will be there soon, too. Admit it: you want to go there. It's okay. We want you to go to there, too.
THANKS BOXEE!
