Check http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYuZrKLQ4uk for a good video of Jonell in a club performance. Always catch her live if possible! Fabulous!

This is very good. Jonell Mosser has a really strong voice (ditto if she wrote the lyrics). I wish there were an MP3 so I could put it on my iPod (and her availability on iTunes is pretty paltry).

Description
JONELL MOSSER is a dear friend and one of my all-time favorite singers. Too R&B for Country - too Country for Rock (at least in the minds of some A&R folks), she has carved a niche for herself on the cusp of mainstream success...a singer's singer, she's respected by musicians all over the world. I first heard Jonell when Townes Van Zandt hired her to record demos of his songs. In 1993, we were both in a band called The New Maroons along with Ringo Starr, Benmont Tench, Mark Goldenberg and, for a brief, shining moment, Merle Haggard. That's a whole 'nother story.......
