My Damn Channel - Dennis Coffey "Scorpio"

Legendary funk/jazz guitarist Dennis Coffey made his debut with Motown's Funk Brothers by playing the distinctive wah-wah part on the Temptation's "Papa Was a Rolling Stone". He has played with Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, The Four Tops, Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett and George Clinton among others. His song "Scorpio" - which he performs here - was an international top ten single and is one of the most sampled tracks of the hip hop era.

Dennis Coffey - lead guitar
Luis Resto - keyboards
Terry 'Thunder' Hughley - drums
Don Was - bass
Brian 'Roscoe' White - guitar
Dino Lewis - congas
