Don Was is the man behind the music on My Damn Channel. One night in late June, he called with an inspired idea. One day later, the idea became a music video reality. Iranian superstar, Andy Madadian was joined by Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, John Shanks, Don Was & friends to create a musical message of solidarity for the people of Iran. We premiered the video on My Damn Channel. We then uploaded it to our YouTube channel. And we immediately let the video and the mp3 out free for the world to view and share. In just over two weeks, their new version of the classic "Stand By Me," has been viewed over 1 million times.
