We've got a new feature here at My Damn Channel called "Hey, Whatever Happened To…?" where we check up on celebrities and pop culture figures we haven't heard from in a while and see what they're up to.

Hey, whataever happend to... Mark Curry, the actor and comedian best known for his role on the 90's sitcom Hangin' With Mr. Cooper? A lot has happened since he hung out in his signature bombastic sport coats. In 2006, Curry was doing laundry in his basement when an aerosol can fell behind his water heater and ignited, sparking a huge blaze that engulfed him and burned over 18% of his body. He was put into a medically induced coma for three days, and when he awoke he says he considered suicide but was talked out of it by his friends, comedians Sinbad and Bill Cosby. 

He eventually recovered from his injuries and bounced back. Since then he has gone on to film a new television show on Nickelodeon with Scott Baio, done a guest spot a Luniz song and had a root canal interrupted by a power outage! Looks like he's doing a lot better!
