You guys, I love comedy. I live and breathe comedy. What I love most is that in this day and age comedy is becoming more and more honest. Comedians aren't just telling silly jokes anymore; they're also talking about their fears, weaknesses and faults.

Honesty in comedy is key and Tig Notaro is a prime example. After Notaro was diagnosed with breast cancer she did the only thing she knew how to do: she took to the stage. With her opening line "I have cancer. How are you?" she started her set out in just the right tone. If a breast cancer diagnosis wasn't tough enough, sadly, days later Notaro went through a breakup and had her mother pass away. Most people would have let themselves be defeated by a string of events so heartbreaking but instead, Notaro performed (arguably) one of the best and funniest half-hour sets at Largo in LA.

Lucky for us, Louis C.K. attended the show and knows that Largo records a lot of their sets. Louis is another comedian I admire for his extreme honesty. The things he has been doing in the comedy industry, like taking control out of the executives' hands and placing it into the hands of comedians, is astonishing. He decided to release the half hour audio set on his website for only five dollars.

It's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, you guys, and I know that I am often very silly and that I rarely take myself or my actions in life seriously, but I am saying this in the most sincere way possible: Please, buy this album, support a comedian who is willing to be real with you to make you laugh-- a comedian who instead of feeling defeated after not one, not two, but THREE life-changing events in quick succession, didn't just give up like she may have wanted to, but did what she loves to do to cope through some very tough times.

I love comedy. I love honesty. I love you all.
