What's Halloween without The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror? Well, if it weren't for Twilight, Halloween would be ABSOLUTELY NOTHING without it! You might as well put down your Goobers, shove those Sweet Tarts right up your butthole, and return that slutty zombie outfit to Party City, because Halloween ain't happening without some Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie.

Now, luckily for you and me, The Simpsons is still going strong; they're in their 24th season and just premiered Treehouse of Horror XXIII two weeks ago, so our buttholes will be candy free (or not…wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more).  

But my favorite Treehouse of Horror episode is XII. It premiered in the show's eighth season, back in 1996. It featured a great Bill Clinton/Bob Dole storyline that is all too poignant as Halloween AND the presidential election approach. In the short, aliens Kang and Kudos abduct Bill and Bob and then K and K pose as the politicians down on Earth, in order to gain power!!!!!!  There are so many gags and one-liners that have stuck with me from this episode since I first saw it, but my absolute favorite is when Bob and Bill are holding hands while walking down the street in order to share protein particles. Classic, just classic.

So, get the DVD or catch it on TV because this is a good one. And remember to vote in this year's presidential election, because if you don't, you won't be able to say things like this to your friends if things go horribly wrong.
