It's Labor Day so celebrate America or whatever Labor Day is about.

1. Dominic Dierkes (pictured, left) from Derrick Comedy did stand up on Conan and killed it.

2. Speaking of Conan, he's starting a new web series in September called Serious Jibber-Jabber. I hope he seriously Jibber Jabbers some more with Marc Maron.

3. This is kind of...okay, definitely (2 years) old but I cannot get enough of this Superchunk cover of The Cure.

4. Have you been watching Stand Down over at AV Club? The Sklar Brothers were the subject this week.

5. I don't know if you guys can tell but I'm obsessed with comedy. Is it apparent? If yo're obsessed with comedy, too, you should watch Modern Comedian. It's super interesting and very good friend of My Damn Channel LIVE, Marianne Ways, is thanked in the first few episodes.
