My Heros are making a movie

Holy ballsack, I'm behind on the news!

I just read that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are producing a movie that stars the Workaholics dudes in it?  With my boy Anders writing it?  This news is too good too be true - but in fact, this news is true.  Very true.

It's not gonna be related to Workaholics, which is cool: I want these dudes to branch out so we can see every facet of their mass talent.  And according to Adam Devine it's a "big action comedy".

Man oh man, how sweet!  But I am a little obsessed that it took this long for me to see this news.  I let my boys down.  I'm sorry, guys, it won't happen again, I promise.  I will never miss another news item concerning you three.  You have my word.

    I love you all.

This Is How You Protect Your Ass on Facebook

"In response to the new Facebook guidelines I hereby declare that my copyright is attached to all of my personal details, illustrations, comics, paintings, professional photos and videos, etc. (as a result of the Berner Convention).

For commercial use of the above my written consent is needed at all times…"

Blah blah blah.  What is this junk everyone is posting to Facebook?  Oh yeah, really seems like a binding legal contract.  Really seems like this is a surefire way to not get your Facebook shit stolen and put into a movie or a play or something.  "What's that?  Spielberg used my status from three years ago as the basis of his new blockbuster movie!?  Damn it!"

Yeah, no one cares about any of your comics or paintings, bro.   So instead of posting that long, boring, probably ineffective statement to your wall, why not share the season finale of Status Kill?  It's more fun and once someone sees you've shared it they won't DARE try and steal ANY of your personal details.  Why, you ask?  Here are some reasons:

    1) It shows that you have good taste.  Jesse Cowell's direction of the series, in my opinion, is simply masterful.  It's his complete vision, as he is also the creator and writer of the entire Status Kill series.  I love it when one man takes what is in his head and turns it into a reality.

    2) Because I'm in it!  I make a quick cameo as The Mad Tagger, who I had played in THIS episode of Status Kill earlier in the season.  I also share the scene with my good buddy Chip!

    3) The special effects are so uber sweet it'll be a fabulous distraction to those attempting to steal your identity.  I know first hand that Chris Dimino spent a lot of time working on the special effects in Status Kill and they all came out amazing.  Seriously, you won't find better special effects than this on the entire interweb.

    4) The acting prowess of Ayinde Howell, who plays Denton Sparks, a bad ass who will surely kick the crap out of anybody who steals anything from your Facebook account…if you post this to your wall.

    5) There are more reasons, but they're all encapsulated by this statement: STATUS KILL RULES.  Watch it.  You will not be disappointed.  Trust me.

The name's Bond.  James Bond.  And Bond is back, baby.  Skyfall, the twenty-third Bond film, comes out today and I'm excited.  Now, after 2008's abysmal Quantum of Solace, no one should be looking forward to another Bond flick.  Quantum of Solace was that bad.  It was one of the worst movies I have ever seen in a movie theater, period.  Just horrible.  But I have high expectation for Skyfall.  Why?  Hey!  Let me tell you five reasons why!

    1) Roger Deakins.  Who, you ask?  Why, only one of the finest cinematographers working today.  He has filmed such visual masterpieces as The Shawshank Redemption, No Country For Old Men and, yes, The Big Lebowski.  With Deakins on board you know the film is no joke and, if nothing else, will be visually stunning.

    2) Sam Mendes is directing.  Okay, he's not my favorite director out there.  I think American Beauty is one of the most overrated movies to have come out in the last 20 years.  That said, he's not too shabby.  Here's a guy that's directed some good movies - especially the wonderful Road To Perdition.  Mendes has cred.

    3) Javier Bardem is playing the villain.  Dude's one of the best actors out there - and he won an Oscar for playing a creepy-ass villain in No Country For Old Men.  I'm pretty sure we're going to get an epic Bond villain performance from him.

    4) Thomas Newman wrote the score.  You can't say enough about this guy.  He's up there with the greats.  The Shawshank Redemption.  American Beauty.  Wall-E.  He's a master.

    5) Daniel Craig.  He's a good Bond.  Even in Solace (which, to reiterate, sucked major balls) Craig gave a good performance as Bond.  He made the movie watchable, which is no small feat.  And given that he was THE SHIT in Casino Royale, I'm confident he'll be excellent in Skyfall.

So there you have it.  My two cents.  I'll be seeing the flick this weekend - tweet me and tell me what YOU think: @DannyMoney
