You guys, it's a super important day today... it's Tupac's Birthday! Hologram joke, am I right? Oh... right... it's Father's Day too! I guess that's kind of important. 

1. I can't say that my dad has ever been tasered by anyone for me but I'm pretty sure he would let himself be tasered if I needed him to! Thanks, Dad!

2. You know what other kind of relatives are cool? Cousins! It just so happens that my roommate's cousin is the one, the only Mike O'Malley. I've been asking him to bring over the Aggro Crag but he won't.

3. You know what would be a better gift than the Aggro Crag? How about a Bored to Death movie!!! Add this to the list of tv show movies that I can't wait to see with Arrested Development and Party Down.

4. I don't know if I've made it obvious enough to you guys, but I really like Louis C.K.. I was thrilled to see The 'Louie' Map of New York, since I happen to LIVE in New York and now I can go to all of these places and re-enact scenes from the show. Anyone feel like riding the ferry to follow a bully home to Staten Island with me?

5. When I become a father someday (probably by accident) I will make sure my kid never has boogers and that he won't be a ginger because both of those things are gross.

It's Father's Day. Call your dad.

Tell him you're so happy that he wasn't like Steve Rannazzisi's character in Daddy Knows Best. Tell him you're happy he never dropped trou at game night, or put you in a shark tank, or lost you in a park. (Okay, maybe your dad DID lose you in a park once but it was only for a minute!)

To my own dad: Thanks for being you, dad. Thanks for showing up at all my junior high basketball games and stressing out about my poor free-throw percentage. Thanks for always slipping one of those Home Run pies into my lunchbox. Thanks for driving me to Sacramento so I could go to a Star Trek convention. And even though there might be a lot of people in the world that look like you, dad, nothing beats the real thing. Love you, man.

Remember when David Wain tweeted that you should mark your calendars for April 30th? And you were all, "Okay, David! I did! Now what?!"

I'm trying. I really am. I'm trying to pretend that other things in the world are happening, like Grace and Dan and Phil are all going to be at Playlist Live in Orlando, March Madness is...um... a thing, and half of you are already on Spring Break and don't care about things that I care about anyway.

BUT.

THE HUNGER GAMES IS COMING OUT ON MARCH 23RD. And I'm pretending that it's relevant to My Damn Channel because Elizabeth Banks has been in a few episodes of Wainy Days so that counts. That TOTALLY COUNTS. So when I see The Hunger Games once, twice, fifty times next weekend I can totally write it off as a business expense. It can be, like, uh... research... for, um, THIS POST.

Tomorrow's the day everybody: National Hat Day!!! I don't know if you guys know this or not, but… ladies LOVE hats. Here are some tips for hats to wear tomorrow:

1. A Cowboy Hat

What's cooler than a cowboy hat? Answer: Nothing. All the girls will look at you and be like "Who's that guy in the cowboy hat? Is he a cowboy?" and you can be all like, "Yes. Yes I am a cowboy."

2. A Backwards Baseball Cap

All the cool guys where baseball caps, but, specifically, it HAS to be backwards because a backwards baseball cap makes you look totally laid back. And what's cooler than looking laid back? Answer: Nada. All the girls will look at you and be like "Who's that guy in the backwards baseball cap? Is he a baseball player?" and you can be all like, "Yes. Yes I am a baseball player."

3. A Beret

Cool dudes wear berets, plain and simple, remember Ferris Bueller? Who's cooler than Ferris Bueller? Answer: No one. Then all the girls will look at you and be like "Who's that guy in the beret? Is he a French Poet or something?" and you can be all like, "Yes. Yes I am a French Poet or something."
