    The Office Season Finale Review

Oh my god, last night's episode of The Office - the series finale - was so absolutely incredible I can't even put it into words but I am going to try my best.  <<DEEP BREATH>> …Okay, here we go.

First of all the part where Jim and Pam decide to leave Scranton in order to experience Canada was a bold choice and I loved it.  The argument they initially had was tense but also hilarious: Who knew Pam had that kind of a mouth on her?  Really funny when she let Jim have it - and sexy.

Dwight.  Dwight, Dwight, Dwight.  DWIGHT!  He will forever be one of my favorite characters in television history, and last night absolutely cemented his reputation as being so.  Utterly.  Hilarious.  Let me ask you a question:  Who writes this show?  Just tell me who the writers are so I can give them big old bear hugs!  They nailed it!  I mean, Dwight taking that boombox and throwing it into the ocean?  With the CD still in it?  The very CD they needed to nail their final presentation to the big execs?  Well, that's dramatic irony for you!  TEARS OF LAUGHTER.  Tears!

I could go on and one about each character: the gay one, the other guy who says one line an episode that's soooooo good always, The Hangover dude Ed Phelps, that hot red head (I love me the red heads, eh?  Eh??  Slappa da bass, eh????  Haha sorry, Rashida!  You'll find a man one day LOL)…There were moments on moments on moments of funny, moving stuff from every character.  But nothing compares to the big moment.  You know what I'm talking about…

Michael.  Scott.  MICHAEL FREAKIN' SCOTT!  I can't believe they had him descend from the ceiling singing "Nessun Dorma" - so so so so funny I peed my pants!  They had to bring back Michael Scott, and they did.  A+ job right there, guys.  You gave the people what they wanted.  And when Michael pulled out that gun and pretended to kill himself in order to make Dwight feel better about losing the CD in the ocean and then Jim finally connected with Dwight only to discover that Michael's suicide was fake?  And then the entire office cheered and hugged until BAM! they cut to black, end of series? And then they played "Don't Stop Believin'" over the end credits??  I laughed, I cried, it was better than Cats!  It was better than….ANYTHING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, EVER!

All in all, it was a great end to a great series.  From season one, episode one, to final season, final episode, I had such a great time.  Thank you to everyone involved with The Office for making life a bit brighter.  Oh, and don't worry, Ryan: a lot of people have HPV ;)

    Twitter War!!

We got a cat fight!  No, it doesn't involve Love Me Cat (check out the Kickstarter campaign!), it involves two grown-ass men, Michael Ian Black and Marc Maron, as they engage in a pretty funny if seemingly petty and occasionally uncomfortable Twitter war.  I laughed out loud a few times but I am a fan of confrontation.  In the end, I think that MIB might have come out the winner if only because it seemed as if he wasn't as emotionally invested as Maron was - but, that's why we love Marc.  He's an emotional guy.

Anyways, check out the entire Twitter battle HERE if you want a good laugh, or if you just want to see how entertainers settle things "professionally" in Hollywood.

Michael Ian Black did a Reddit AMA

Did you miss the Reddit AMA Michael Ian Black did over the weekend to promote the new book he wrote with Meghan McCain? Yes, THAT Meghan McCain?

Then we are sad for you.

Fortunately, by the power of the internet, you can read everything that you missed right here.

In case you're wondering, Michael's poison ivy is doing much better and he doesn't hate Daniel Tosh (we're as disapponted that this is a non-existent comedy feud as you are)!

Pete & Pete: A Letter from the Future

    Dear Chris in 1995,

All of your dreams are about to come true. 17 Years from today, you will get to hang out with Pete & Pete! Yes, THE Pete & Pete! Try not to wet your pants… oh wait, you already did. Dude, get mom!

You good, now? Ok, cool. Fresh pair of undies? Nice. Mom is the best, huh? Anyway, let me tell you something that will blow your mind! Everyone on the internet will be able to hang! Let me explain a few things to you... the Internet, Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook… you're going to understand this as much as I do now (i.e. not a whole lot), so try not to worry.

Something that did come out of Tumblr, though, is Kitty Pryde. She's a rapper. Yes, just like Coolio that time he was on Muppets Tonight! She's pretty neat!

You want some advice, huh? I can't give you any because circa 2012 you are perfect.

    Sincerely,
    Chris in 2012

    TVgasm Tuesday

It's TVgasm Tuesday once again and it seems like 2013 is quickly becoming the year of the heartbreaking series finale -- The Office shot its final episode a few days ago, and, predictably, I did not leave my bed that day. Thankfully, the internet came to my rescue and provided me with hours of The Office nostalgia like this beautiful photo.

Also, a sign-in list from the first day of auditions was posted AND if you aren't already crying, Steve Carell was on the Nerdist podcast (he doesn't really talk about The Office that much, but it's just comforting to hear his voice).

Other things that are a big deal: Beyoncé released a new single, appropriately named "Bow Down", which is exactly what I did the first time I heard it. Emma Watson could possibly be doing a movie version of 50 Shades of Gray, which is….porn….right? It has to be just porn, like what else is that book about besides sex? It's fine, I'm just saying let's call it what it is, so horny mothers of five know exactly what they're getting when they go see it. On that note, let's see what TVgasm has...

    This Week:

As usual Oprah has hopped on a bandwagon, like, five weeks too late. She's released a Harlem Shake video, go check TVgasm out for all the details. Maybe she'll discover Nyan Cat in a couple years. Oprah iz a n00b, L0L.

Lindsay Lohan is in the news again, this time not for killing a couple clown hookers, but because she feels feels bullied by Justin Bieber. Well, I have some news for you Ms. Lohan, we've all felt personally victimized by Justin Bieber at one time or another. It's time to wipe up your mascara, build a bridge out of all your money, and get over it.

Did you know Lil Wayne was in the hospital? I did not, but apparently it was pretty serious, but he's fine now and all's well that ends well. Check out TVgasm for the full story!

Remember: The ending of TV series is a perfectly valid excuse to sit in bed all day and eat 3500 calories….so I hear….from my friends….who did that.

Tweet me quotes from the office and I will respond with a quote from the same episode FROM MEMORY. @Sam_the_stone

    TVGASM TUESDAY

Ok guys, it's TVgasm Tuesday once again, not a minute too soon, too. I don't know if you remember last week, but…uh I got a little angry, and well maybe we both said some things that we didn't mean (mostly me, since you didn't say anything). Anyways, as an "I'm sorry for being mean via the internet", I decided to make this TVgasm about awesome things that are happening in entertainment news. Things that make me want to give someone a pat on the back. Ya know, wholesome stuff

    This Week:

First and foremost, good for you Liza Minnelli. Thank you for returning to Arrested Development, that was a solid move. Most things you do are perf, but this trumps everything. I hope you can finally conquer your dizzies, and live your life in peace.

Hey Jay Leno, thanks for taking a giant pay cut on the Tonight Show. Granted you're still making 15 million dollars for having a large chin on camera, but what can I say. Four for you Jay Leno, you go Jay Leno.

Also, and this one's a big one, I want to give a pat on the back to every new TV show that's premiered for the fall season, because, hey, you are the reason for TVgasm Tuesdays, and TVgasm Tuesday is my favorite day of the week. Go read the review of all these new shows (be sure to catch parts one and two)

Remember: If you are even slightly literate, and know how to type (or even just shout words at someone), you can probably get a pilot on NBC in the near future.
