Our colleague Dean Peterson noticed something strange about the subway stairs he took every day and shot a short video about it that went viral yesterday.

He noticed that one step seemed just a tad higher than the rest, causing everyone to trip... every day.

The video was featured on Gawker, Gothamist, Huffington Post and Dean even made the local 11 o'clock news on NBC! The MTA has already blocked off the infamous stairway! But will they fix it...?

Congrats Dean! Hope you told everyone about the latest video you filmed... a tribute to YouTube superstar lohanthony featuring our other co-worker, Dan!

This is the week to tell everyone publicly what you're thankful for, so here's the first thing I want the public to know:

Today I am thankful for Braid. Braid is an emo/post-hardcore band formed in 1993 and they have gotten me through many good/bad times, for this I am thankful.

I never got a chance to see Braid, nor did I even know of them, during their first run as a band. They broke up in 1999 but lucky for me they got back together recently and I got to see them on tour.

No other band has had quite a lasting impact on me as Braid and I'd say there is a reason for that, it's because Braid fucking rocks! They just released a new EP, Closer to Closed, in early 2011 and now they're in the studio working on their next full length.

So today, I am thankful for Braid. Let me know what you're thankful for, ya internet brats. @MrChrisDonahue

If you follow Mark Malkoff's example, the best way to get people to notice you is to stay at home and watch Netflix movies all day, every day for at least a month. That's what Mark did and then Netflix invited him to visit their Los Gatos headquarters, introduced them to their CEO Reed Hastings, had a special screening of the video documenting his movie marathon and then declared the day "Mark Malkoff Day!"

So if you thought you had to go out into the world to make a name for yourself, don't! Stay at home! Turn on your TV! Watch it constantly for at least a month! People will love you for it!

Your "Netflix Challenge" has been featured by The Daily What, The Huffington Post, Vulture, Neatorama, Laughing Squid and TIME! Today you were even tweeted by the Tribeca Film Festival!

If you keep this up, we're going to have to challenge one of our interns to read as many articles about you as he can in one month! Strangely, we think the record right now is about 252... just like how many videos you watched! SO WEIRD.

While doing our usual morning perusal of favorite blogs, this article at Lifehacker caught our eye: The Worst Coworkers and Workplace Annoyances and How To Deal With Them.

It describes 5 archetypal annoying workplace characters such as "The Lunch Thief" and "The Hoverer." The solutions Lifehacker offers are pragmatic and creative: "put your sandwich in one of those plastic sandwich bags that have fake mold spots on them" or "start humming The Police's 'Don't Stand So Close To Me' and maybe The Hoverer will get the hint."

While all of their suggestions to temper workplace anxiety are perfectly acceptable and probably won't get you into too much trouble with HR, for the more adventurous lot of you we recommend taking tips from this Workless video because we're pretty sure no one will miss your point:

1. Call your annoying coworker names. Preferably ones not fit for a family publication.
2. Suckerpunch your annoying coworker. Or slap him/her. Whatever's easier for YOU.
3. Challenge your annoying coworker to an Ultimate Fighting match. This is usually the best option, since you can settle your differences, exhaust yourself working out your frustrations and provide the rest of the office with lunchtime entertainment.
